Class Seating Chart runs entirely in your browser. Class lists, seating charts and settings are stored in local storage on this device only, and the noise meter never records audio. There are no student accounts and nothing to upload.

How do I save my seating chart as a PDF?
Press Print / Save PDF and choose Save as PDF in your browser print dialog. The chart prints on one landscape page with the board at the top.
Can I move desks around?
Yes. Drag any desk to a new spot. Click one desk and then another to swap the two students.
Is Class Seating Chart free for teachers?
Yes. Every tool works free in your browser with no account, no sign-up and no student logins.
Where are my class lists stored?
Only in this browser, on this device. Student names are never uploaded to a server, which keeps you clear of most student data privacy concerns.
Can I import my roster from a spreadsheet?
Yes. Paste names one per line, or import a CSV exported from Excel, Google Sheets or your school information system. A name column, or first and last name columns, are detected automatically.
