Class Seating Chart runs entirely in your browser. Class lists, seating charts and settings are stored in local storage on this device only, and the noise meter never records audio. There are no student accounts and nothing to upload.

Frequently asked questions
Will the same student get picked twice?
Not until everyone present has been picked once. Then a new round starts automatically, or you can reset the round at any time.
Can I use it on the board?
Yes. Full-screen mode shows the chosen name in very large text.

Yes. Every tool works free in your browser with no account, no sign-up and no student logins.
Where are my class lists stored?
Only in this browser, on this device. Student names are never uploaded to a server, which keeps you clear of most student data privacy concerns.
Can I import my roster from a spreadsheet?
Yes. Paste names one per line, or import a CSV exported from Excel, Google Sheets or your school information system. A name column, or first and last name columns, are detected automatically.
