Student information
Class lists, seating charts, groups and settings are saved in your browser's local storage on this device. They are never sent to our servers or anyone else. Clearing your browser data, or deleting a class, removes them.
Microphone
The noise meter asks for microphone permission only when you press Start. Audio is turned into a loudness number inside your browser many times a second and immediately discarded. Nothing is recorded, stored or transmitted. Press Stop or close the tab to release the microphone.
Spin wheel links
If you open your list in our sister spin wheel app, the names are placed in the part of the link after the # sign, which browsers do not send to servers.
Advertising and cookies
We do not currently show ads or set advertising cookies. If we add advertising in future, this page will be updated first.
Our host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability. These never include anything typed into the tools.
Children
Class Seating Chart is a tool for teachers and is not directed at children. Students do not create accounts or provide personal information.
